Bamarama is is the main attraction of the Rootstock Festival. An event where you can just sit back, place your bets and watch the most popular BAMs face each other in the arena.
Bankers and Bookies are found at 3 areas at the Bamarama.

As of 09-30-2014, There has been a number of changes to Bamarama.

1. Bamarama now begins everyday at 7pm and final match is at 11:50pm. Each match lasts 10 minutes from placing bets to the actual match and results.
Old Bamarama: begins every 15 minutes between 9 and 11pm nightly, at channel 1 only.
2. Diamond Tickets and Bamarama Tele scrolls are now sold at Bamarama Bookies.
Old Bamarama: sells only Bamarama boxes and Gold tickets.
3. Bookies used to be visible along with the banker but now it only appears once a match betting has started and disappears when betting closes.
Old Bamarama: Bankers and Bookies stay together even if there are no matches being held.
4. Bamarama is now active in all channels in the Freeholds. Each channel hosts it's own set of monsters. Changing channels and leaving the Bamarama area will void bets a player have made.
Old Bamarama: Matches are only held on channel 1.

Bankers are like regular bankers in town.
While Bookies sell Bamarama Teleport Scroll, Gold Tickets, Bamarama Boxes and Diamond Tickets. Bookies also handle monster bets. Bookies will only appear once the Bamarama matches begin taking bets.

Bamarama Boxes contain random Freeholds Alcohol and a surprise gift like Melsa's Chef Hat.
Bamarama starts at 7pm till 9:45pm nightly

Bamarama starts at 7pm till 12am nightly.
Players can bet between 1 to 200 gold tickets on their favored BAMs.
Talk to Teena (or any other Bookie around the arena) and choose Monster Wager. Place a bet on the monster currently listed to fight.
QHP Note: according to the Weekly Maintenance: 13.02.2014 news*, there's a mistake on the number of tickets players can bet. It lists 50 to 1000 gold tickets but you can go bet from 1 to 200 tickets only.
Once you placed your bet, all you need to do is wait for the event to start. If you leave the area or change channels you will not be able to receive your reward if you win a bet.
You can only bet once before a match starts so pick carefully. If you try to vote again a message will appear on screen informing you that you failed to place a bet.
After a set amount of time a message will appear on screen informing players that Bamarama will be starting.
Diamond Match is a match between an Old Bamarama BAM versus a New Bamarama BAM. It is held twice an hour. With the first match, every win shall be awarded with a special Diamond Reward Box.

With the introduction of Diamond tickets, a special Diamond Match will be held every 6th match of the hour. It will be a match between an Old Bamarama BAM versus a New Bamarama BAM.
Diamond tickets are only for Diamond matches. Gold tickets cannot be used in Diamond matches.

Like Gold matches, you can only bet once and if you leave or change channels you void your bet.
Just like any combat sport, monsters are introduced, then the fight starts. Monsters start off with 100% HP and the match is set for 5 minutes.
QHP Note: there might be times when the BAMs might start fighting even before the announcer finishes the introduction.. dirty fighters.. -Updated: 10-02-2014- As of 09-30-2014, this bug has been fixed and matches start as scheduled.
The monster with the highest HP % left wins.
If the monster you bet on wins, a message will flash to inform you of your win and the prize will be sent to your mail box.
Your prize will be doubled relative to the bet you placed on the winning monster.
◆ Rootstock Quests and Rewards ◆
♦ Quest: [Rootstock] Get Back to Your Roots ♦ - Main quest of the rootstock area. Given by Melsa.
Composed of chain quests to introduce the fields around the fairground, the Bamarama, [Mini-game] Kick-Bale, and finally the starting point of the Sky Pond.
QHP Note: You only get to do this quest once. 3 Rare dishes given at the end of this quest are part of the Good Eats Achievement.
♦ Quest: [Rootstock] Create a Farmer's Almanac ♦ - Main quest of the rootstock area. Given by Millia.
Collect crops from the fields around the fairgrounds and at the Sky Pond. Compile them all into the book then return to Milla. Completing the quest rewards you with a Rootstock Necklace.
QHP Note: Can be done once and also unlocks the Achievement Stairway to Heaven if you climbed up to the Sky Pond.
♦ Quest: [Rootstock] Down on the Farm ♦ - Main quest of the rootstock area. Given by Rachlae.
Learn about farm work; sheep herding, chasing off hyenas, gathering eggs, and rounding up piglings.
