Halloween is here again! And as per every Halloween Event we'll look forward to Ellonia's shop containing costumes, pets, consumables! This year Ellonia's shop contains........ contains only one item!! ∑(O_O；)Shock！！
Event is from 24th October (10:00) and the 7th November 2017 (05:00)
Come help the Witches of Eldritch Academy man cannons and chase the gate crashers away!!
Find Ellonia and she will teleport you to Eldritch Academy Grand Hall.
◇◆◇ Ellonia can be found on all Main cities!
- Near the steps facing Sharan Command in Allemantheia
- Near the Goddess Statue at Plaza of the Huntress in Velika
- Standing near the door to Kaiator Command Center at Forgeheart in Kaiator
- Standing near the steps at the Court of Enlightenment in Highwatch.
You will be teleported to Eldritch Academy Grand Hall, there you will see Witch Detective Titiana and Beryn.
★**★*――― Starting Cannons and Candy!
Talk to Witch Detective Titiana to start Cannons and Candy (lv.10) quest.
☆*━♫*--QHP Note: This quest has a minimum level requirement of lv.10! Damage doesn't matter! What matters most is to carefully aim and hit the monsters in the Festival Hall!
Hunt down Gourdo, the Giant Pumpkin Head Ghost, inside the Harvest Festival Hall.
Talk to Titiana again and click the teleport button to go into the Academy's Harvest Festival Hall.
Inside the Harvest Festival Hall, assign one person talk to Headmistress Serena to start the game, but only when everyone else is at their cannons and ready to go.

★**★*――― How to play Halloween Cannons!
♦―――――――――★ Let's talk about the basics!
Serena will ask you to protect the Halloween Candy Basket in the middle of the room. There will be 3 cannons and 3 pumpkin entrances surrounding the candy stash. The objective of this game is to try and prevent monsters from taking the candy back into the pumpkin entrances for 5 minutes. You will gain points for every monster you kill and will gain deductions for every monster that makes it back into the pumpkin entrance.
The following monsters will come in waves to try and steal candies. Do your best to kill them before they reach the candy basket or pumpkin entrances.

♦―――――――――★ Let's talk about strategy!
Now you've got a party of 3, Set roles for Cannon 1, Cannon 2, and Cannon 3 positions so members near the gate where the BAM spawns can coordinate and kill them together, if they are free to do so. BAMs and Ghosts that appear on your right are always priority.
*♦*◇◆◇ --- Cannon Positions and Gate Line of Sight
- Cannon 1 has a straight view of 2 and 3's gate. Gate B (12'oclock position)
- Cannon 2 has a straight view of 1 and 3's gate. Gate C (4'oclock position)
- Cannon 3 has a straight view of 2 and 1's gate. Gate A (8'oclock position)
♦━ Set Quick Chats to quickly relay your messages. (for example: General, Pale Riders and Ghosts!) Configure Quick Chats on Options +→ Game +→ scroll down to Quick Mark and Combat Exclamation Setup.
♦━ Quick Chat key is on Options +→ Shortcuts +→ UI +→ Quick Chat.
♦━ If the curtains get in your line of sight, you can adjust camera view by pressing SHIFT + Arrow keys.
♦━ You can also use the Directional buttons aside from the WASD keys to turn the cannon.
♦━ You can move the Cannon Attack skill from Left-click to another key on your keyboard. Open up Skills menu (press K) when inside the cannon. (It will show you Cannon Attack skills instead of your class skill.) Move the skill to your desired location. (we suggest moving the Cannon Attack skill to Numpad 0 on your extended tray, It will be easier to press than left-click. it is also closer to the Directional buttons to turn the cannon. But you can also use WASD if you prefer.)
When inside cannon, always turn cannon facing your Left direction!
There are 3 rings on the Harvest Festival Hall. Waves of monsters will travel all three rings to reach the candy basket, take the candy and exit towards the gate.
Halloween Spirits will only travel to center ring and stop at various points on the outer ring. But Halloween Spirits do not travel in a spiral way like the other monsters. Undeafeated Halloween Spirits will also exit the gate at a certain point.
Waves of monsters will walk in a counter-clockwise (Left to Right) that means they will walk towards the left side of the cannon that will give players more time and reach to kill them off .
The 1st wave of monsters will be 3 Harvest Tuwangi, 2 Halloween Tuwangi and 1 Halloween Tuwangi Chief.
2nd Wave of monsters. Monsters will be 3 Halloween Sweet Fiend and 2 Halloween Rattlespear.
3rd Wave of monsters will be BAMs = 2 Halloween Pale Rider and 1 Hallowbones.
When the Hallowbones messge appears, be on the look out for the appearance of Hallowbones! Always inform your party if you see Hallowbones spawn from inside the pumpkin gates. Remember which gate Hallowbones spawned from, 2nd Hallowbones will respawn there again.
Hallowbones will respawn 1:30mins after it dies so try and kill it as soon as possible!
So 2 members (closest to the gate where Hallowbones respawns) must focus on Hallowbones. The furthest member must aim for ghosts to place debuff.
A few seconds after Hallowbones appear the 4th Wave will start! Gourdo and many Halloween Spirits will start spawning.
Halloween Spirits move in a clockwise direction (Right to Left) so it would be easier to pick them off by turning your cannon to the Right direction.
Gourdo will appear an can be killed off in 2 hits placing a Chill frost debuff (30sec) on all the monsters in the area.. But be aware that once Gourdo is killed, Halloween Spirits will change their directions!
Constantly killing off ghosts will constantly place a debuff on all halloween monsters even if you cannot see them on the field.
Smaller monster will usually die off effortlessly from just the debuff so focus on the bigger monsters in the field for more points.

So don't be salty if you don't get Rank 1 and just play again! ... Strangely enough our QHP priest gets rank 1 90% of the time. (1x Rank 2 and 4x Rank 1s) Priest used buffs, Premium Battle Potions and Noctenium (don't worry, Priest said it won't get used up since you're using cannon not your skills.) increases cannon fire speed? or placebo effect?? but it seemed to work, try it out! (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ
Use the Teleportal near Serena to return to Eldritch Academy Grand Hall.
☆*━♫*--QHP Note: Alternatively party leaders can type /Reset on chat to reset the whole instance.
Talk to Titiana to complete your quest and start repeatable The Party Bouncer (lv. 10) quest.
The quest "The Party Bouncer" (lv.10) can be done 5 times a day (dungeon entry limit for Harvest Festival Hall is 5). If you just started "Cannons and Candy" quest, you can play 4 more times.
Should you tire of the Halloween Party, talk to Beryn who will gladly teleport you back to Pora Elinu.
★**★*――― Events and Holiday Achievements
♦ Cannon Control ♦ Get a score of 5000 in the Harvest Festival Hall. You will also achieve "Loose Cannon" title.
♦ Seasonal Squash ♦ Kill Gourdo in the Harvest Festival Hall ten times. Recieve the title "Pumpkin Smasher".

Some late correction/clarification - ghosts don't walk in circles but in straight lines. When a round is over, the party leader just types /reset (+ Enter key) in the chat window. There's a Halloween guide in every town, I believe. Lastly, one may want to rebind their shooting button to, say, Num 0 on their keyboard, so they don't break their left mouse button. ☺

Yes we agree with your comment, ghosts do move in a strange way that we cant clearly explain in words XD;; but you are correct & it does not move in a circular way like the other monsters do.
Yeah this event really might break your mouse so we also moved the shooting button to Num 0 XD. Also you can turn the cannon using directional buttons aside from WASD ^w^
We wanted to add these infos to the posts earlier but we were pressed for time since we were uber busy with playing this event while making this guide XDD;; (We were farming for tokens.. yes we wanted the phoenix too! lol XDD;;)
